An oil-free Oatmeal raisin vegan cookies, that are not soft like a pillow but actually have those wonderful crispy cookie edges and a little bit of crunch to it so we are making the oatmeal raisin cookies. They’re completely oil-free but they still have those crispy edges thanks to maple syrup.
Oatmeal raisin vegan cookies ingredients
- 1 cup Corn flakes
- 1 cup Rolled oats
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
So another great ingredient that we love in our cookies is corn flakes. For some reason. We’ve always made oatmeal cookies with corn placing them on our place and so that is what we used in these you can leave a mound just add more oats if you want though so that’s one cup of corn flakes.
This is the one-degree organics ancient maize spikes that we really loved them. Any corn flakes will work and then one cup of rolled oats.

Next we gonna add 1/4 cup of oat flour ,1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Now this is where the crispy part comes from rather than relying on oil to make them crispy we’re just going to rely on the crystallization of maple syrup as they cook to get those nice crispy edges and it works great so this is 1/2 cup of maple syrup member.
And then you’re going to add in your raisins you could also substitute chocolate chips if you wanted a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie that would be really delicious as well. We would suggest about 1/4 cup of whatever you’re using.
So a quarter cup of chocolate chips or a quarter cup of raisins and then you’re just going to spoon them onto a pan the batter is not going to be really stuck together at this point and that’s ok.
They’re going to spread a little bit and they’ll be just fine so just kind of you want about a tablespoon per cookie just kind of make little mounds. We got about eight cookies you might get 10 something like that and then just flatten them out and smush them down a little bit. They will spread while baking so make sure they’re not too close together.
And then you’re going to bake them for 15 minutes at 350 Fahrenheit. The edges should be slightly brown when they are done
And then take them out of the oven and let them cool for about 10 minutes or so at least before you take them off the pan and that’s all there is to it
Your oatmeal raisin vegan cookies are ready now. You can keep them in the fridge probably about five days or so but if it only makes eight we have a feeling that we’ve gone pretty fast.
